I was up early and decided that the lack of cars in the parking lot meant that the shuttle bus would not be running from here to the convention center where the show is. I pulled out and headed down town and found the place fairly easily but came in the back way through a parking lot. All the lots seem to be pay type down town. I went over and talked with the girl taking money for the parking and asked her if there were any free places to park. She told me about a side street she lived on not far from there and I went over there. There is a little park along the big wash and at the end is a walled in area that the sign says is available for weddings (no receptions tho) or similar events if you get a key and put down a deposit. The statuary was under restoration and they had the gate open, so of I went in and looked around. I had to go back and get the camera and take a few photos. I have never seen anything like it before. The place was built by a Spanish guy several years ago. The main event is a piece of the last supper a little over life size.

this is a cool three foot high scene where Jesus is brought before the king by Romans ( ? not sure the story but I guess if you are interested you will know it.)

the cross scene

the really spooky scene which I have never seen done before. He is dead on the ground. Is this common? I came in from the other side and thought it was where the guy that built the place was buried until I came around to this side.

The gold show was fascinating.
Here is the only one I have made smaller to email so far. These are all the forms of crystal gold.
